Safe Travel to School

Arriving Safely and Kiss & Go drop off zone

It is important that students use pedestrian crossings and designated walkways and cycle paths near the school, and that cars entering the drop off zone travel slowly and carefully.

If you are planning to park and come in, please use the car park. The drop off zone is 2 minutes only - please do not leave your vehicle if stopping there.

Roadworks

Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is currently undertaking a number of transport improvement projects in the Drury area which limits accessibility to Auranga. For visitors coming from out of  zone the main access to Ngākora School is via the Victoria Street intersection with SH22 (see map). Bremner Rd bridge has been demolished and there is no longer access to Auranga from the Drury side of Bremner Road.

Catching the bus

In-Zone students who live more than 3.2km from school are eligible to access the Ministry funded bus service to and from school each day.  If you think you are eligible and would like to make use of this service, please visit: https://rosehill.easybus.nz/ngakoroa-school/ for more information or contact the school office.
