Pūrewu / Uniform: Get kitted out!

We are proud of our kura and our uniform, we expect that it is worn correctly and to a high standard all the time. Sample sizes are available at our school office to try on.

Children can choose to wear our polo shirt or sports t-shirt, and our shorts and skorts look equally smart! Any plain navy pants, leggings or trousers can be worn during cooler weather (no obvious branding/logos/designs and no denim please).

Student’s footwear choices should be comfortable and practical for active school life. Sneakers/sports shoes of any colour are perfect.

Accessories, hair, nails etc should take into consideration health and safety factors in a busy school environment. Accessories should be minimal (expensive items should not be worn at school) nails kept short, and we encourage those with long hair to tie it back.

Clothing items worn for cultural reasons such as head-scarves, hijabs, and turbans are welcomed at Ngākōroa School.

All uniform items can be purchased directly from the Kukri online store.

Stationery

The school will provide essential stationery for all our students. This will include the necessary work books for each student and access to shared pens, pencils, rubbers, gluesticks etc. In managing stationery supplies in this way we are able to ensure that all children have access to the equipment they need, when they need it.
